What Matters To Me. There are many thing that matter to me but one that stands out is my family. My brother matters to me. My brother is my best friend and we do a lot of things together. I always have someone to play sports with or do anything. We normally play lax in the backyard or badminton. My brother is also always there for me he comes to a lot of my sports and I go to his sports games also.
My Dad matters to me. My Dad is always there for me and we do a lot of things together. He taught me how to ride a bike, how to ski and many more things. He is always there to help me with homework or anything else there might be. My Dad is always there for me if I'm having a bad day or playing bad in a sports game, I know he is there to cheer me up and encourage me. One of my favorite things to do with my Dad is to go to the gym late ,when no one is there, and play basketball.
My Mom matters to me. My Mom is my greatest supporter she is always there for me. When ever I am down she is there to cheer me up. She would always say “Did you try your hardest in sports and at school, did you give up at anytime?”. This quote would always stick in my mind and would remind me to never quit and always give 100% effort in everything I do. My mom will do anything for me. If I need some one to be in the boat with me while I'm fishing, she will sit in the boat as long as I want.
Sports matter to me. I would not have half the friends I have right now if I didn't play sports. My three favorite sports are football, basketball, and lacrosse. For me ,without sports there would not be much to do. When I am with friends most of the time we play sports. We may just be screwing around but it’s still a game and is still fun. My favorite sport is basketball . I love to watch and play it. One thing I like about basketball is you don't need much to play, you just need a ball and a hoop. Sports are also an escape for me. When ever I am having a bad day I can just go to the gym and play basketball.
All in all, there are a lot of things that matter to me like my brother, my Mom and Dad, and sports, and I don't know what I would do in my life without them.

Jimmy- this is a good post. I'd like to see the collage that accompanies your post. Make sure to proofread your response before posting. There are a few sentences that need some extra attention.Good work!
ReplyDeletetry to start off with an attention getter. less distracting motions, but over all very good job Jimmy ;)
ReplyDeletetry not to play with your hands and your paper. And maybe try for more of an attention getter. I liked that you didn't just read your PLN exactly how it was read.
ReplyDeleteGood Job crinkling the paper Jimmer. You didn't look at your feet but try not to look at your sheet the whole time. Good description! Great ending question
ReplyDeleteGood question and try to not fidget as much

ReplyDeletemake sure to make your question clear and make sense
ReplyDeleteThe paper was really loud and distracting and you seemed to be a little rushed to do this presentation.
ReplyDeleteThe ending question was a good way to end it, but work on your presentation a little. Mainly with not moving around so much.
ReplyDeleteyou were fighting to control your hand position and you were moving your feet around a lot. Try to find a position where you feel confident and are able to control your hands, great ending question, try not to say "like" too much, your not the only one to do it today. you had good projection you were just a little timid.
ReplyDeleteJimmy- you did awesome this time. I liked you're eye contact But you moved you're hands a lot. good question at the end. Lion king in 3D is gonna be sick.
